I thought Beasts of No Nation was damn near a masterpiece.

But will there be a Bernie Sanders cameo?

I think a simple gun license would stop the majority of mass shootings, for reasons that were examined "The Springfield Connection". There need not be an age limit on the gun license, nor would the government need to track purchases after the license was issued.

The Fair City Mall, yes.

Nope. Camp David is nearby Thurmont, MD, off Rt. 77. You can google earth it. You might be thinking of the secret presidential underground bunker at the Greenbrier, which was not publicly acknowledged until 1992.

Winston's Hiccup.

You think at root Middle East turmoil is the product of American policy towards the region?

I saw both Rushmore and Tenenbaums in a somewhat shitty/somewhat awesome indie movie theater in Fairfax, Va that was so stereotypical it sold apple slices along with popcorn.

You're like a father who tells his adult child that he loves him, but doesn't like him.

The Royal Tenenbaums holds up after 15 years and then some.

When you write gun violence are you including suicides?

You're suggesting that if one city of about 5 million people was the site of 15% of the nation's gun murders that wouldn't statistically very dangerous?

That was a Simpsons quote alluding to the intractability of some public policy problems.

The whole reason we have elected officials is so we don't have to think all the time. Just like that rainforest scare a few years back: our officials saw there was a problem and they fixed it, didn't they?

My concern is that as long as ISIS controls a state and has an undisturbed propaganda outlet online they will attract assholes the world over.

If 137 people were killed by guns every month in Paris there would be 1,644 violent deaths by firearms per year. America had 11,028 violent firearm deaths in 2013. So in your example, Paris would actually be incredibly dangerous compared to American cities.

I think gun licenses are a great idea and would stop many, but not all, mass shootings.

"ORLANDO — President Obama said the gunman who opened fire in a nightclub here on Sunday appeared to be motivated by extremist propaganda online, saying that authorities have not found any links connecting this attacker with other radical groups."

I find it astonishing that you equate trying to degrade ISIS's ability to recruit and motivate Americans to commit terrorist acts with outlawing religion and rounding people up indiscriminately.

Are you suggesting that examining the role ISIS played in inspiring and motivating the shooter makes one a Breitbart type nutjob?
