Everyone knows a Lotus Elise won't win a drag race. Sure it's a fast car, fast enough for the streets, but drag racing is not its forte: an Elise will beat most other cars off the line, pulling decisively ahead to pass sixty in about four-an-a-half seconds, but its top end can't compete and from one hundred onward…
