It's perfect because it has the power that Jalops crave, a sound system for blasting tunes, heated front seats because if you can get them you should always get them, "black" wood trim because the interior doesn't need to be fancy, just functional (I consider mixing colors fancy), black leather because it's a BMW M

This article and the documentary it describes are about Gran Turismo, its creator and their influence in car culture world wide. Just because the author didn't mention any PC racing sims or any other game for that matter doesn't mean anybody is ignoring their success or influence in car culture. It's just not what

My instructor was really cool. I told him I had done some autocrossing and he just let me go for it and gave me really good advice, but wasnt yelling or constantly correcting or anything. The only rules they had were that you had to keep all the assists on (which was fine with me) and on the main straight we had to

I got to drive the V at the beginning of the day. First session of they day, no prep or anything, here go for a ride, then drive the wagon, the drive the coupe MT. It was a great experience. (obligatory video below) I just didn't remember anything about the ATS.

Funnily enough I drove an ATS at Circuit of the Americas a year and a half ago on a mini obstacle course when I got to go to a CTS-V driving experience. Apparently it did not leave much of an impression. Of course that whole experience was dominated by driving the V on track.

When I started reading this I thought the ATS was front wheel drive, & I was unhappy. Then I went to wikipedia and found out the ATS is rear wheel drive, then I was happy.

The C6 had a crappy auto transmission at first and then it got a pretty good auto transmission. Huge improvement. I would not be surprised if the c7 starts out with a torque converter auto and half way through its lifecycle switches/upgrade to a dual clutch.
and if I were to GM, I wouldn't say anything about it,

Wikipedia says you have a collection of motorcycles. What is your favorite bike in your collection?

What's your favorite electric/hybrid vehicle on the market today?

If you could picture yourself having led an alternate life in one other industry besides the automobile industry, what do you think you might have done?

White out conditions. Guess how many cars had their lights on. About 50% of them. I flashed my lights at every idiot driving without them. You can barely see in front of you so lets be even more difficult to see to those around you by not having your lights on.

"Valve[...]'s online game distribution and multi-player platform Steam has 65 million users." - the same number as the number of years since the dinosaurs went extinct. Coincidence? I think not -> Half-Life 3 confirmed.

Yea, I laughed out loud

I just figured they were big fans of the Gene Hackman/Denzel Washington nuclear submarine crisis flick.

That Lotus had to work real hard to pass him, but he did look a lot more tranquil behind the wheel than the other drivers.

I really like these paint schemes. Moar pics?!?!?!?!

wow, that's a lot more changes than I realized
