But a long wait for Gran Turismo 5 finally paid off.

I got an XBox so Forza has slowly beaten out Gran Turismo in the last 7 years.

Back to the rally games with Colin McRae, 2.0, 3, 4, 2005. Then Dirt 1 and 2. (apparently marketed as Colin McRae games in non-US markets)

And of course, Burnout for some relaxing destruction a la Demolition Derby. Burnout 3: Takedown, and Burnout: Revenge, but not Paradise. (something about Paradise just didn't engage me)

Driver was more my kind of game than any of the GTAs, but they were in there too.

Need for Speed was in there too, but not too heavily.

Then my love affair with the WRC grew and demanded its hours. Meanwhile Gran Turismo 2 and then 3 would also vie for my affections.

Step 1. Well, I thought I was going to be clever and validate the 787 as having an odd number of cylinders because since it technically has zero cylinders, and zero (in my mind) is both odd and even, therefore the 787 fits.
