Leather can be very hardy. There are some animals that use it as an outer layer of protection against harsh environments. If it suits their needs then I’d imagine it’s tough enough to stand-up against lamb skin soles.

Not any time soon and not before car prices plummet. Not to mention the permanent changes. Most large corporations are already in motion to dump corporate office space. People work from home now. I’ve driven maybe 200 miles total since the first week of May. Demand for cars, both new and used, is in a free fall.
The swine flu didn’t kill 80,000 and counting in the USA, and by all accounts it is not as contagious as COVID-19.
We’ve been told that even if the office opens up the buildings will only be allowed to be at 25% capacity, all of the cubicles will be spread apart and masks must be worn away from the desks. 1st Gear: 80% drop in profit still means they are making a profit. I would see this as a pretty good silver lining given the situation. Plenty of others are talking losses.
Neutral: Mostly we’re being told it’s an evolving situation and the emphasis is on being careful and thoughtful even when the lockdown lifts. It’s a pretty common sense approach, really.
