    By “Porsche GT2RS may be the new king of Nurburgring”, you actually mean “An unknown car masquerading as a Porsche GT2RS may be the new king of Nurburgring” right?

    Wait, so given how little improvements there are, why would one choose an ND over the countless used NB/NC Miatas available again?

    It’d be a great project car to swap an LS into when the engine breaks and its sold at a third of the price a year later, I assume.

    I cant take my eyes off that overhead intake..also I wonder if MB would allow people to test this things performance in case the existing track monster AMG GTR matches it/gets uncomfortably close

    All the sensors and actuators needed to make this engine work as intended...Mazda better have torture tested the thing or they’re gonna be in for a nightmare fixing all these things.

    Well, Mazda gonna Mazda....at least with electric tech developing like it is now they can stick an electric motor in there so the sports car doesn’t suck piss at low rpm....

    It can’t be just me that looks at this group and says to himself: “these cars look pretty dreadful, I’ll buy something actually fun used for 30k” Right?

    That 1:27.1 lap from the Z06 was like...a second slower than what the regular ZL1 and the Vette Grand Sport did on the exact same track, so it appears that Chevy did allow the Camaro (and the Corvette) to outshine the Corvette.

    Well, material quality is one thing (knowing MB it costs a fortune in options for said materials that aren’t leather), I am betting that the ZL1 1LE would be more reliable than said Merc black series, which is what I associate more with quality.
