I really like this so far. Best new album I've heard today, but uh… where is the kendrick lamar review, anyway?

where were all you people when I needed you? I'm still reeling from the amount of ill will I received for having this opinion in the comments of the Seeds review.

I was like that with All Hail West Texas for a long time, even though I may or may not have had access to the entire discography. I haven't really dug into anything prior to 2002, but everything I've listened to has been good to great to holy shit.

Kansas City generally wants to be San Fransico. or Oakland. depends on which side of Troost you're on.

*suddenly remembers what that "the dissolve" button on his bookmarks bar goes to*

still waiting on my hearing to get back to normal after seeing them in '08

I thought I could sensimilla in that clip, but it turned out there was only one chick! and she was no mila.

reggae parodies now? has everybody ganja?

the music and the musicians in this movie literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. incredible. after I finished my first viewing, I immediately watched it a second time. IT WAS STILL INCREDIBLE

le sigh.

no, you can not. nobody wants to get near a regular groin.

BOOM SHAKA LAKA

This particular critic thinks that Cries… should have won. that is the entire point of the article. So please, write another 100 words to explain how I'm wrong about that.

super dense it is, then!

none of this has anything to do with the particular movies. for some reason I just get aggravated when strangers on the internet don't understand the point of an article.

there can only be one 13, but it sure is prime

fans seemed to embrace songs like “Hey Dude”—its title an obvious Beatles reference reference to the classic Nickelodeon tween sitcom, Salute Your Shorts.

I'm trying to reconcile your eta with my watch, but it's not making any sense to me.

also, when you say quote unquote "Where as I think that it should be "completely expected" that the The Sting would win", you're actually just repeating quote unquote "and nobody expects an art film to win out in the oscars." which is what I said. but fuck it. sensible discourse is for pussies. and you're either

the point is that Cries and…, by any metric (besides box office numbers), is a better movie than The Sting. we all get that The Sting is the exact sort of movie which wins. which is absurd!

nobody said anything about suprise. and nobody expects an art film to win out in the oscars. that has nothing to do with which film SHOULD have won, though.

no accounting for taste, and so forth.
