I have a hard time believe Oklahoma is more conservative than Kansas. You know, the state that refuses to acknowledge evolution in any form, and is also in the middle of cutting massive amounts of funding to mental health programs. Because if you're mentally ill, what you really need is more prayer.

I don't like the way this episode made me feel. It's always been bleak, but it seems to be bordering on hopeless.

Flaming Lips' "Convinced of the Hex" and "The Sparrow Looks Up at the Machine" off of Embryonic. Such dark, dirty grooves… especially coming after two albums of brightly colored psychedelic pop. Definitely sets the tone for the whole album.

Excellent movie, but whenever I talk about DiCaprio or Spielberg, I forget it ever existed. Has a totally different feel from most anything else in either of their filmographies.

compared to previous seasons, it's still really good. compared to other things on TV, it's effin great.

Definitely a winner in my book. The way they decided to shoot the meetings and the O.R. provides a nice contrast between those scenes and the regular looking regular regular scenes. Ably performed. Well written. coool.

I liked Harry's Law, so I'm giving this a shot. 15 minutes in, I like it pretty good. Considering the competition for Monday nights, it just might join my weekly rotation.
