I noticed this about AMG in particular, but I bet it is true of all of these “performance” lines. I’d see a fire breathing AMG whatever cruising down the highway and was typically taken aback by the little old lady driving placidly along behind the wheel.

I have louder aftermarket pipes on my Triumph T100 (Brittish Customs Sleepers). I think they sound pretty good and they make me smile when I twist the go knob. That said, I hate REALLY loud pipes. Harley’s with strait pipes... I’m looking at you. That shit is ear-splitting.
