I can't be so sure. Toyota and Honda have pretty much stagnated innovation, yet their cars are still selling like hotcakes simply because they are a Honda/Toyota. The interesting part is that I bet this will only get a fraction of the attention from the mainstream press compared to GM.. No gory stories or heartbreaking stories to help boost ratings. I could be wrong but will be very surprised if this gets more than half a paragraph from national news agencies.
