This is the correct answer. If you look at how the snow is sitting, it’s piled up more at the base of the windshield. This was roof snow that became windshield snow during a panic stop.

Regenerative brakes don’t yet provide a smooth transition to a complete stop. Brake pads can provide can coast a car to a complete stop more effectively.
