If you do the math the mustang was making 285 lb/ft with 5.0L. The Camaro makes 325 lb/ft with 5.7L. Both motors are making 57 lb/ft per liter. The Camaro only wins because of the added displacement.

You can actually do this, I used to watch the C-17s do it all the time in Iraq. Quickly jab the brakes then turn the nose wheel and accelerate the two outside engines and you could swing the back of the plane around.
