Whilst they didn't change it substantially, it was being developed earnestly in its home market. The attention to detail was applied to the Type R models, and trying to trim weight is always the best type of engineering.

Nu metal is an eternal guilty pleasure. Bro-dozers are just guilty.
I know it's our future, but that engine is just a blare, not a wail or a shriek like a proper engine. I just can't get emotionally moved by turbocharged engines like I can by even the most modest atmo engine.
Your last line sums it up perfectly.
It's Jerry Seinfeld. I'm sure he's had chance to drive a working one and could do so at the drop of a hat.
It’s definitely a more interesting car for stunting than the rides Ken Block uses and the stunts themselves were generally more interesting.
What a dick move, with his daughter in the car. Lucky it was only a tyre.
Yeah, that was my reason for reading Jalopnik.
To hell with the NOx! Stupid EU nonsense. The gains in petrol CO2 far outweigh the hamstrung diesel NOx issue where petrols are many times less harmful.

Even thought they’re UK-based, I’m sure Playground Games will choose to set Horizon 3 somewhere else. How foolish. They could make the coolest open world driving game yet if they went for typical, narrow, off-camber UK roads, rather than the stupidly wide lanes they’ve offered in the first two games.
I recognise the North Carolina road from the Crew, albeit it’s just a few miles from Chicago and the Holstein Cow in the game.
You're not wrong. The styling is as big a misstep as the Vantage Zagato was in 1987. It's entirely possible it'll look OK in time, like that car, but conventionally pretty it ain't.
It's starting to grow on me from some angles, but I'd be inclined to get it in bright red and think of it as a Vantage Zagato heir, rather than mainline DB car. It's too different to what a DB car has come to be known as.
There's nothing a Brit enjoys more than the well-aimed swear word.
I should love it, as on paper it's fantastic. However, I think the GT3 parts bin raiding is a mistake - a car like this should've had bespoke bumpers IMO - and the livery is garish. It would be perfect with just the black decals on the sides.
If only I had the means to own both the EV and the ICE versions. They’re two of the coolest looking vehicles around.
All that power and torque and it would still be left for dead by a 2003 CSL on the Nordschleife. What a BMW that truly was.
The van itself was the Type 2, but the generations are T1 (Split window), T2 (bay window) etc.
BMW were offering open pore wood on the E65 and it looked like a breath of fresh air in 2003. I’m glad to see it used more often, as glossy wood isn’t very appealing to me. I drove a Caddy SRX with ‘wood’ that resembled a dollar store photo frame and why would you want to mimic that with real veneers?!
