Those cars are not awful. Compared to the average white-good competent beige mobile of today, they're probably chock full of character.

My dear departed Granddad’s last Yugo proudly displayed its five-speed credentials across the hatch.

You really would have been. My E36 320i had full colour coded bumpers, from the factory and the full button OBC, so I’m now thinking it must have been a successful rep’s car.

My wife has a 1.2 five-door SXI. It doesn't matter how good the VXR version may be, I couldn't bring myself to associate it being good when the 1.2 is so maddeningly crap. It's six years old and the rear shocks have leaked out their oil. My Vauxhall is twice that age and drives considerably better and mine was put

Spending BMW money used to mean getting something different to most and a cut above the rest. Buying a FWD one that will be very similar to products by the other two prestige Germans and the mainstream brands as well doesn't strike me as very good VFM.

The four cylinder in the E9x series was a naturally aspirated engine, actually.

It sure is. It looks like it evolved from the first-gen NB and that's not a good thing.

My car makes do with 123bhp and 125 lb ft of torque and has a first and second gear so short that it feels like it's trying to peel itself off the Tarmac and i love it, so the 1.5 Miata is the one for me. Rather extend a lower-powered car than do the silly speeds the same would in something powerful.

Oh man, that's just perfection. Wider arches and full louvres. Nailed it.

As a Brit who enjoys Americana and will hopefully travel there one day, this is fascinating reading.

I want it just because it is naturally aspirated. How cool is that in 2015, in this class of car.

This is one impressive update to GTA V on consoles. Will have to get started on it for myself.

I really need to get this game.

Might be in time for next year's Forza Porsche expansion for FM6. I've always wanted a standard Carrera body in that game, but it's always the GTs or Turbos.

I can’t agree on Horizon 2. I hated the festival in the first game, so its background role in the sequel suited me heaps.

Not just the Premier League referees, the three divisions of the football league referees wear the same official Football Association referee outfits, too.

I've been told diesels aren't emissions tested on our MoT.

I’ve not been a big fan of the new R1, but this changes everything. Just need to see them reintroduce the original white with red from the first gem and it’d be love.

The one in the OP jus looks so classy and understated. Compared to what they are now, where fussy details add toughness, these just looked like slightly softened tools.

I believe it's still available with RWD in the UK, which would be my choice of Roadster R. Unless it was raining - admittedly that would be quite often - that roof would be own and the Loud Asshole button would be always on.
