I’d like to see the same tone taken by someone reviewing what (to me) are boring novels about nobodies who happen to live in Connecticut and take the same trains to work as the publishers - tedious Cheever being the worst of them.

Although for years, Brokaw’s conservative bias infected his news shows. He had no understanding of women’s issues or non-white issues. It seems really hard to get fair and impartial juries. Some don’t trust cops at all, and others are fully gung-ho on supporting police regardless of possible violations. I hope body cams begin to make a difference, but people are amazingly good at not seeing and not hearing what they disagree with.

What is it about armholes! All of them are now teeny at the shoulders. Even a big boxy sweater that is two sizes too big for me everywhere else has dinky armholes that pinch my upper arms. I’m no Twiggy, but it seems that pattern cutters are now simply ignoring all human anatomy.
