The Flashback facial hair this season has been amazing, from David's goatee to Olivia's dad's mustache to the homeless beard on Cyrus. If there ever is a flashback episode with Jake, he better be rocking a nice handlebar mustache.

I wish I read this before commenting above on other posts, but this is exactly what I got out of the episode. Mellie is trying to get Fitz elected for a second term not because she wants to be first lady or have power, but because she has to accomplish something for the sacrifice she made.

While it would be best for her to get out, I don't think Mellie will ever truly get out.
