Does it really matter? The day that ANY US city gets nuked, we're all dead anyway. It would trigger nuclear war beyond anyone's imagination and at that point we're all fucked.

Your initial statement makes you completely unreasonable and someone that can't be talked to in a mature, rational way, but what the hell.

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAA...

Look.

Yes but ICQ lives on!!!!

My "line waiting" will consist of sitting on my couch, eating pizza, watching the 1st Round of the NCAA Tournament while I wait for the FedEx guy to deliver my pre-order from Apple.

The smiles on the left look real. The smiles on the right look forced.

It's been the "norm" in my house for at least 3 years now.

I love my iPad, but I'm not sure how much more upgrades in spec matter at this point. The device pretty much is what it is until the software makers decide to REALLY start pushing the hardware to the point that Apple feels compelled to make some serious changes to it.

Mountain Dew Throwback. The only way to fly.

Gee. I'm shocked that someone who particpated in internet hacker attacks has maturity issues.

I checked Apple's website tonight and I see that I completely wasted my time earlier in the day waiting through all their slow site-loading when it came to pre-ordering shortly after the unveiling. It's 10pm MST and they're still showing March 16th delivery.

I've already pre-ordered it and I'm sure I'll be pleased with what I get, but if a new version is going to come out next year there's going to have to be some sort of "magical" new feature(s) to make me buy that one.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution players: "No shit"

Yeah and it really seems to be hurting them, doesn't?

I must say that's pretty damn cool.

Meanwhile the Apple online store has completely shat itself. I get the feeling pre-ordering from their site may be a futile effort. Hopefully it comes around.

Perhaps you missed the part where they sold millions upon millions of them last year.

Right......an "identity crisis" that was artifically created by rumor-mongers online who didn't actually KNOW anything.

There's so, so much truth in that article. When I was standing in line to buy the first iPad I was thinking to myself "I'll buy it, but if I don't get a lot of use out of it, I'll just sell it on Craigslist for how much I paid."
