Think whatever you want, I have no energy for internet pissing contests anymore. I'm not interested in hypotheticals, I'm interested in what actually happens. And between my scenario and yours, I know which one is more realistic.

I would think that it's pretty obvious by now. They don't WANT consoles to be machines that are that powerful. They want machines that are cost effective when they're first produced so they're REALLY cost effective a few years down the road.

That's not how consoles work, and it never will be.

Uhhhhh go to Newegg, sort by price, and pick one. It's not like Skyrim is that graphic intensive. And it obviously depends on your CPU/RAM as well. I mean geez I have Skyrim running on a secondary computer with an ATI 4890 at 1080p and it runs just fine, let alone a card from this generation.

Please don't post video cards like this. It makes people think PC Gaming is unaffordable. Just post the ~$200 video cards as that's all anyone needs to max current generation games.
