@bonz9876: as far as I'm aware, the advertisers won't pay for those hits if they appear for less than a predetermined impression length. I think it's 3 seconds, but I could be wrong.

I'm not really sure on Google Instant. It almost seems like it's one of those things Google have done just to demonstrate their skills. It's novel, and it's impressive, and for a few it will save time.
