Those of us who have been promoting EVs for decades had hopes early that the market would simply adopt the elegant and powerful Tesla Supercharger connector as the standard. Elon Musk supported the idea by offering patent-free use of the technology.

Those truck pull stunts are always bullshit. The heaviest truck almost always wins. It’s a traction game. No one is surprised an EV truck is heavier than an F-150 and no one is surprised an AWD truck beat out another truck in 2WD mode.

Wait until the actual vaportruck specs and pricing come out, probably more like 2024 and decide then. This thing is just a BS hype exercise at this point, wouldn’t go making any plans based on it. A few things....

There is a theory in engineering that there is a natural path a design solution takes to the best solution. A sort of natural selection. Over the years we learn from our bad designs and our good designs, eventually working our way towards the ideal design.

I would put money on it being the other way around. It’s a near certainty that the # of people who will buy it *because* it’s a Mustang > # of people who will NOT by it just because it’s called a Mustang.

The amount of people that will *refuse* to buy it because it has Mustang in the name should be an even shorter list.  They were not going to buy it anyway.
