Unlike many customers, who act as they’re being personally offended when their proposition is not accepted by the dealer, I master on being super polite during the entire negotiation and, when things start to get sour I simply say ‘thank you for your time, sorry we couldn’t come to an agreement’ and get up and start

I don’t see any reason to abuse the poor sales dude. Presumably he has little to no leeway to negotiate the price. He’s just the gopher in this game. In an ideal world we would just all sit down with the sales manager, and I have done that when buying my BMWs at my tiny local BMW store (she does all the Euro delivery

I’ll make exceptions for companies like VAG and Volvo who have been doing turbos for a long, long time...but even those are far from the pinnacles of reliability.

First mistake is thinking KBB list value has any connection to reality

As much as I hate to say this, I can kind of understand this after dealing with some frustrating recalls. Recalls used to be a “We are recalling this, so we will have the parts available to fix in a few days and you can get it done this week”; now it is “This is a recall, and the parts should be available in 6 months

I don’t despair much, though, because I remember circa 2008, when people couldn’t run from SUVs fast enough. These markets go in cycles, and, the Ford Escape will be at its whims, like every other car on offer.”

The roof

As someone who owns a 2017 and 2018, I can confirm that 935 ft lbs is already a ridiculous amount of torque...

Here’s a rough example of some of the numbers I’ve been running on this. Even when you account for fuel economy a full size truck tends to be a better value than say, a full size sedan. A midsize sedan is a pretty good value, but the full size truck is so close it hardly matters to most people when you consider all

Rudder comes stuck hard to port.

3.) Midsize and compact trucks. Not everyone wants\needs an F150 and the midsize market is only growing. Bonus points if they can be hybrids\full electric.

It really doesn’t make sense anymore. My mom’s Escape with the 2.0T gets 27 mpg average compared to my s/o’s focus that averages 30. There simply isn’t a big enough difference to make people give a shit.

This thing looks absolutely incredible, inside and out.

Cadillac! Hey, Cadillac! It’s your cousin, Lincoln! You know that profit margin you were looking for?! Well...

unless you can shift in milliseconds stop bitching about the DCT, it will always be faster than you

Ford didn’t plan for such high Navigator sales, and is struggling to keep up with demand.  The Escalade, meanwhile has no production hurdles.

My pappy said “son, you’re gonna drive me to drinkin’ if you buy an XT6 over this Hot Rod Lincoln.”

My thoughts exactly. I was already set on buying my wife the Aviator, but was curious to see what the XT6 looked like. This makes my decision a no brainer.

No kidding, Lincoln absolutely bitched slapped Cadillac and they just took it.

This...? or a 450/600 HP/TQ - Hybrid... Rear Wheel Drive Based... much better looking Lincoln Aviator...... hmmmmmm....
