They have their own Star Trek with The Orville if they decide to really give it a chance. This whole series has been a massive surprise in a very good way.

I get what you’re saying, plus she’s from a country where blackface isn’t such a historic negative thing, BUT we are a global community now. Blackface is immensely harmful to millions and should be acknowledged and treated as such and not done at all.
Bortus’s smile at the end was so cool. Well earned.
Amazing and totally on point. Kyle Korver I’m grateful to him for this.
I have had the feeling since the pilot that they were possibly going to take Discovery to the future to avoid cannon issues. But it’s still up in the air if they will. They are definitely teasing it now.
Ah shit first Preacher and now Futureman. I hope these guys have something cool up their sleeves in moving to Lionsgate. We're losing some good stuff.
Ugh, after a second viewing I have a sinking feeling they are going to screw this up.
I like they didn’t make Arthur or Dot total cliches. They both grew and became something more. I was really worried that Arthur would be just another bumbling, wimpy, wishy washy, cowardly, running away, always having to be pulled back into it character. Instead they let him lean into it despite everything and…
They built 481 to bypass and should have taken out 81 then. As Vic said it wouldn’t have brought back the business but it would have stopped some of the local businesses and districts from crumbling. You can’t get back and forth between half the city without a pain in the ass maze of broken side streets and twisted…
Holy crap! The reveal about how Supereon’s arrival and how it caused all this was great. I won’t say more as I don’t want to give it away. Seriously great reveal.
It might take longer though if the Club that is in Glass keeps going around killing them off or convincing possible super heroes they are not super. LOL
I almost don’t know where to start. I didn’t get to watch the show last night. I got home today and put it on this afternoon and got immediately triggered. I had recently commented on the Viceland https://news.avclub.com/viceland-blending-true-crime-and-professional-wrestling-1833666235 article on here about their…
They should really do a series on those who were and are in the independent promotions. It’s brutal, fun, depressing, exhilarating, frustrating, disgusting, amazing and so much more. The sheer amount of talent that never gets beyond local or regional shows that blows away any of the top guys in the big promotions is…
She was really good as Lumen on Dexter.
I have am issue with most of them as I wrote in here a minute ago. Your reason is also a good one.
Great another glowing review for a movie that teaches boys and men to be creepy, self entitled, never take no for an answer, manipulative, coercive, stalking, peer pressuring scumbags.
I’m tired of remakes and reboots. I want new stuff or continuations in the universes that have been established. For every great adaptation we get too many Solos and other crappy reboots. I will give this a shot since I like his work on Get Out and such but I'm really wishing for more new stuff.
The people that keep claiming he is being smeared and defamed after his death. Sad fact is, no one needs to smear him, his actions while alive did enough damage on their own.
I found this episode both creepy and touching.
Definitely could go that route. I keep getting the feeling too they are going to use an accident or need to permanently jump Discovery to the future. That future most likely being set in Picard's show time. Then having Discovery and it's crew stay there from then on. This way they don't have to be stuck in cannon…
