I think I might like this.

It's like thinking the Punisher wouldn't fight Spider-Man or other Marvel heroes....

The way Major Nelson answered it could have been a lot more solid than "we would not do that" Why not say something with definite wording...

I think it has to do with how refreshing and fun the first game was. It wasn't a perfect game, but it showed potential to be something even greater, and that opportunity is now reality with Mirror's Edge 2! Basically, a lot of us want more of what Mirror's Edge offered and better.

Damn, even RDJ is sad because he's not recognized as Iron Man.

Kind of disappointing, it seems Desmond has been denied his right and full potential for the sequels... or maybe he'll be back, who knows. Does this mean the Abstergo employee is related to Desmond by bloodline considering the Assassin is still in the same bloodline?

Mega Man was truly the 3rd party poster boy and staple for NES back then - I can't really think of any other 3rd party character to add on with as much recognition, so MM should be more than enough.

Heyy, no cosplayers! I still say RE6 Leon is a lot more American manly than before....other than the front bangs. I'll admit it's still kind of bishounen.

Many of the examples you stated have gotten better throughout the years by not designing characters with Japanese or Eastern features and mannerisms. Leon from RE6 is barely recognizable from his bishounen look and style of RE2 and RE4. He now looks and acts like a rugged American man. But yeah, I get what you're

But this is in Japan, that just mimics the old slums of HK... Which is why I questioned it's authenticity of the griminess. Much of HK is pretty clean now for sure.

Are you talking about Tila Tequilla?

So is the dirt and grime intentional or is it really like that? Or both?

You could give a white guy the same style and he would look just like those Japanese hosts pictures. Real Japanese men don't really look like that. I've seen many a Wapanese and Western cosplayers. *shrugs* At the very least, the characters are Japanese-y.

This is as much of reality as Digimon Tamers (aka Season 3). Quite a few series use the plot pattern of taking place in the "real world".

You mean Team Ninja wanting to give the idea that their female characters, raging with sex appeal and raunchiness, could have class and subtlety which didn't work out? Because that's pretty much what I said the first time around give or take.

The last part you mentioned - that in itself is pretty funny already!

Yes, and apparently in their world, no one stares at her lasciviously or questions her outfit. Their attempt was to make her dress "normal" but sexy - and fails at looking anywhere near classy or subtle even though they would want you to think otherwise.

And that is? If I recall, Team Ninja and/or Itagaki said that their female characters are strong, sexy and they treat them with respect and class. Itagaki even stated they were like daughters to him.

It's called attempt. Why doesn't anyone read my whole post first before replying -__- Read what comes after subtle.

Yes because they think it's normal and Itagaki likened it to a Barbie dress 'em up game that little girls could play... like his daughter. I'm not even kidding. Also, read that I said 'they tried to make it off as classy and subtle and failed' instead of immediately pushing the reply button OTL
