To be fair, Lesean Thomas includes fan service in his work! Take a closer look at the video, specifically the armless chick. Also, Black Dynamite has plenty of fanservice in the "Whorephanage".

People in mu art school used to bash the use of all video transitions, and even effects. That was stupid, because all video effects have their place. Even Star Wars uses the "cheesy" transitional wipe effectively. Seemingly useless effects can look totally natural in context.
