I have a 3DS, and I play it exclusively with the 3D function turned off. It makes me feel nauseous if I leave it on. I can’t really stand 3D in movies either.
Happy that they’re moving away from it.

The difference is that New Vegas had excellent RPG mechanics and a compelling world to play around in. Most of the criticism I’ve seen for Andromeda very rarely centers on the bugginess.
LOL, maybe video games just aren’t your thing?
You seem fun.
I mean, it’s a link to the Kinja site that more typically covers issues in comic books. So are you just jerking yourself off, or were you actually curious?
It’s so funny that people read it so differently. A lady literally pulls the moon out of the sky. Shadow’s dead wife is wandering around. Animals talk. Shadow has visions. Lucille Ball addresses Shadow directly, through the TV. These are much, much more than “hints” in the book, and that’s just the non-spoilery…
It’s like Nightcrawler’s assault on the White House by way of Hotline Miami. Count me in.
“Picking stuff up in games will never get old” is inscribed over the entrances to Ubisoft’s offices.
The update allows you to skip the travel sequences in space. Though those landing and takeoff cutscenes are effectively the loading screens for the zones. Though I wish the ship would not take off when all I want to do is check my damn e-mail. Take off when I go to the galaxy map, not when I board the ship.
Hey, that looks pretty ok. The subtle changes around the eyes/increased eye movement made a big difference. The cutscenes just got a little more tolerable. I can’t wait for the ability to skip takeoff/landing cutscenes. Just send me to the damn planet already.
Good. Cheating in online game is shitty thing to do, cheat all you want in offline singleplayer
It’s still possible to compare them in terms of expectation, gameplay and execution.
The hell? Only idiots blamed one developer. As far as I can tell, pretty much everybody was blaming EVERYBODY over at EA and Bioware because they somehow managed to fuck all the fun out of the Mass Effect IP while producing a game that was meant to set up an entire new lineage of Mass Effect titles. They deserve to be…
I really want to have a discussion about the original Mass Effect trilogy, what I would have liked to have seen in a Mass Effect 4, what we actually got in Andromeda, and how Andromeda fits into the context of the original trilogy, both in gameplay and execution (worldbuilding and just the “feel” of the game).
No, they’re not. This game is a step backward for the franchise in every aspect, technical and artistic.
Witcher 3 got bogged down by dozens of tedious side quests too. They also reused like 5 different NPC models constantly.
Compared to the original Mass Effect, this game reads like a fan fiction mod. The story, the dialogue, the animations, the voice acting....they’re all terrible. I went into the trial thinking people were overreacting.
Drew Karpyshyn’s stellar writing on the first Mass Effect was the trilogy’s saving grace. Even after he left, and the writing went downhill, they were still building on the bones he left behind, and that was enough to carry them over the finish line (although not without some major struggles).
There really should be a way to organize the comments so that the latest ones show up first. Every time you post a new version of this list, I still see the same comment lamenting the removal of Infamous Second Son. Not that I disagree, but I wanna talk about Inside.
