what has the world come to when the internet is no longer a safe haven for ponies?

i remember several years ago after france had a series of riots by their arab and african minorities where it turned out that having an official colorblind governmental policy actually managed to hide the systemic racism at play

touche

the first modern use was by the british during the boer wars (turn of the century). they had difficulty controlling the countryside so they rounded up all the afrikaaners into camps with predictably horrible results.

i know, like i said, its incredibly pedantic and "technically correct", which is the best kind of correct

i was being so naive …

to be incredibly pedantic, a location is evacuated not a person. unless you're describing someone shitting themselves, you should never say that people were evacuated

i'm sure that in true catholic fashion they simply felt really really really guilty about it

its this weird conservative idea that if we don't ever talk about race or racism then we will never be troubled by it again

haven't you heard? trump totally understands racism because everyone hates him and says mean things about him

and we all know pearl harbor would have never happened if the americans of japanese descent had been interned beforehand

i remember living in virginia during the run up to the iraq war, and many people bashing the catholics because the pope was against the war and how it was evil because of course all catholics blindly follow the pope's orders

and some, i assume, are good people

its a change from the normal cocaine fueled projects we see

no … but i now want to see this movie that you're talking about

how about rick moranis defending them in court, summing up with "one time i turned into a dog and they helped me"

didn't a reviewer for AV club get crucified for suggesting the original ghostbusters wasn't that good?

they love several movies, like robocop and die hard … they even liked captain america: civil war, but they still gotta nitpick

perhaps phasering?
