They did do a toilet spot in a reel in 2017, maybe they thought it’d be repetitive?

I’m sure Sony and Microsoft don’t wanna waste valuable factory line space and/or a thin line of electronic components for old consoles during this rough production time. Parts (even as lowly as a screw or conductor) that’s used for a PS4 is one not being used on a PS5. I bet Nintendo wasn’t gonna kill off the New 2DS

I popped when they did Tails’ theme from Adventure. That was always a personal fave.

Not really. Many popular cards have been reprinted, like Haymaker cards for example. I think this is the third time they reprinted this Charizard? That said, they don’t do it really often.

It was literally a tweet at around midnight saying “hey new console trailer in 10 hours.” I sometimes like these last second announcements when they work. Like I saw BOTW2 trailer live and was like “okay here’s radio silence until The Game Awards at least,” versus the thrill of seeing Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity

Yea I hate the take of the article. They forget people and journalists out of the gaming bubble are exposed easier to a centralized event and allow more push, even in a digital age. They never see outside their own POV and realize the mother’s $360 it took to get her daughter a Switch and Animal Crossing is worth the

Dread was referred in Metroid Prime 3 as a Metroid experiment, so it’s relevant.

Nintendo doesn’t really announce hardware refreshes at E3. I think the last time was the Game Boy Micro. Hell, even the Switch was unveiled 10 hours after a tweet announcing the video for it. E3 is not usually the place for that.

WayForward is making it, not Intelligent Systems, so it wouldn’t be by the devs otherwise. They’re prob doing Fire Emblem while getting Warioware out.

Was there some definitive edition of this or Symphony of the Night on Saturn with more content? My friend for the last fifteen years has been bitching that we never got everything from it in all these rereleases.

Man this is the most conservative we’ve seen Nomura. I thought toning his designs down could help, but holy shit that’s too much *hits the Go Back button.*

Seems that Microsoft is FINALLY starting to get an identity again, mostly thanks to Bethesda. After a Bungie and Epic peaced out on continuing their killer apps, they just seemed directionless as a first party this last ten or so years, with no non-Forza game gaining any super traction. While no game had me super

I saw the news earlier tonight about this and was happy to see more core western games like this on Switch, and thought about picking it up since I played Witcher and Skyrim and Kingdom of Amalur on it.

They published it, but who developed it? I don’t remember them discussing it.

I always assumed they’d make a museum game, where you walk around a virtual one. Kinda like the Smash trophies but a blown up concept.

Man for that much money, it’s be a better investment to just go to a McD’s and roll the Chicken McNugget gacha for another one. That way you still get dinner if you don’t summon one.

The dub of Kaguya-sama: Love is War has a WILD funny narrator in Ian Sinclair. The guy’s a master.

They should make it free-to-play. It had a micro transaction model that would support it too. I worked at GameStop when that released, and our Microsoft rep would give us 1600 MS point cards during his monthly visits. I’d use them on this mode for its gacha pulls.

I think the magic is to do the Madden formula and release one every year with updated stuff. Yugioh did that with World Championship Tournaments on GBA. I think these games would have two different audiences, cardboard players and video game players. MTG Arena has yet to kill the cardboard market for example.

Dunno about you folks, but it sounds like Nintendo/Pokémon Company needs to put out a successor to that Game Boy Color Pokémon TCG RPG game for Switch. (I know TCG Online is on PC and mobile, but one with a story single player mode and no microtransactions too.) Can’t sell out of that on the eShop.
