One thing is that frozen was never re-released. Many Ghibli movies are. I’m not sure if spirited away was but it wouldn’t surprise me. And Japanese movies stay in theater longer than foreign movies. Spirited away was also out in the early 2000's when tickets were a bit cheaper so more people went to the movies. Today…
