HEAVEN FORBID! A WHITE AMERICAN GOT DETAINED! THE HORROR.

I’m not sure if you’re being facetious or not, but that’s why I mentioned it - because it’s so unbelievably stupid of them.

It’s not. Americans seem to think every other country is so difficult to enter, yet they don’t realize it’s equally, if not MORE difficult for non-Americans to get into the US. My white friend was detained literally this morning at the land-border because he had a can of dog food in his car that wasn’t labeled with

Wasn’t it Boston that threw a banana at Wayne Simmonds too? Wasn’t it also Boston that called Subban a N***** whenever he visited with the Habs?

Hate that!

I dunno man, but I still manage to fuck up french fries myself.

Other than the BCS, bowl games are sports’ most glorified participation trophies.

I’m gonna bet you’ve never played hockey before. This is the type of move that to a hockey fan who has never played before, looks simple, but honestly, it’s pretty difficult. Especially with as much speed as Mcdavid holds and against a good NHL defender.

I’ve seen that happen too many times ;).

This wasn’t the first period. They were at the game. They were just getting nachos or taking a piss. This happens at literally every sports game after an intermission...

The goals were right at the beginning of the period - people were still making their way to their seats.

it’s now worse

What is this the Magic School Bus? Swim through the Vitreous Humor to the optic nerve then take a left and you should be able to get out through ear eventually.

That’s what it’s like in Canada. TSN (the ESPN owned, Canadian sports network) is great. Then I go down to the US for work and watch ESPN while I’m relaxing in my hotel room and I’m like “fuck this” it’s practically like TMZ or Entertainment Tonight.

That was my plan at first, but for personal reasons, I decided to not play hockey at college anymore. When I first transferred back to Canada, I did a summer semester (when there’s no hockey season) to redo some courses that weren’t transferable and I was like “hey, I kinda like being able to just concentrate on

That was at University of Denver. I was there two years before I transferred to a school back home in Canada where I didn’t play hockey and yes, I finished my degree.

Ya, I know that when I was a Div-1 hockey player they certainly put my education first. My recommended courses include bongo drums and restaurant testing and the tilted head/puppy look my adviser gave me when I told her I wanted to finish a business degree certainly showed where their priorities were!

The worst drivers IMO can be summed up as the ones that have no idea they even did anything wrong.

This is exactly the same with diving in soccer. People always say that the player barely got touched, but acted like he just got hit by a semi. It’s just a way to say “hey he fouled me ref, make sure you make the call”. Half the time they would get the call if they didn’t dive, but it’s just a gesture to affirm it

True, I know it’s probably only for next year. No NHLers isn’t going to ruin mens hockey, but it ruins mens hockey in the Olympics. I equate this now to the annual World Championship tournament - I watch if there’s nothing else on - but it’s nothing compared to the Olympic hockey that’s now (at least temporarily)
