You hit it on the head perfectly...she’s a draw to the likely audience of this film, he’s largely a deterrent. His being in this movie is exactly why I have no interest in seeing it. He does big budget CGI action flicks or buddy comedies, he’s ‘good’ at them but not really an actor...boom! Math done.

Plus, people who enjoy the kinds of bullshit blockbuster films he works on (which supposedly justify his salady) are not the type to go see this movie, making his being a bigger star overall irrelevant. In some ways, within the confines of this particular film, she is probably the bigger draw.
