All the more reason to have no moral dilemma with installing custom firmware on my 3DS and acquiring games through alternative means.

I guess the backlash they’d expect from shutting down Bank is still enough that it’s worth keeping that up for a while. I figure there’s not that many people still playing 3DS and Wii U games online but I guess there still must be plenty of people transferring Pokemon.

Still a bit weird to me that Fire Emblem Revelations is (almost) unobtainable now (through legit means).

Chief, you’re in good company here.

Not sure if it helps, but you’re not alone. I am, too.

Gods I feel that.

I forgot to mention that I’m clinically stupid.

She also said she had previously reached out to Epic but it had never responded.”

Clearly this is because THPS 1&2 was just announced for Steam

Nah, there’s a million ways to make money.

In the invasion mode there’s a Gateway Portal in the world select where there are hourly, daily, and weekly towers. Unlike mk11 though, they don’t show the rewards and the two that I did, didn’t give great rewards. Invasion mode is kind basically the same though but its a month and a half giant tower, haha. I mostly

I’m with you, friend.

I can finally just go fishing and sail around, stop, go get a beer or some food, and not have to worry. lol

I love PvP at times, but I don’t want it *all* the time.

I have yet to get super far in Invasions but from what I’ve seen from those who have, there are timed towers available in Invasions once you hit the realm that has them, and the content in the mode are seasonal as well (with items being able to be purchased with currency later should you miss out), as well as static

I don’t know about the towers, but the mutations in Invasion kinda suck. Switching buttons so you don’t know which button does what, dark screen, smoke that makes your character stop all actions and cough. I’m picturing a design meeting at NRS and somebody saying “You’d know what would be fun, if we remove controls

Wonderful news. All those “It’s Sea of Thieves not Sea of Friends” people can go pound sand.

Oh thank God. This game is really fun but sailing ten minutes back to an outpost to sell loot only to get slaughtered by a fully manned warship from hell is not fun by any means.

Okay. Another quick Google search shows the videogame industry bringing in about $214 billion in 2022. In 1993, it brought in about $19 billion. If you account for inflation, that $19 billion would be worth about $40 billion today. So even if you account for inflation, the industry is generating over 5x as much

Cool, ignore every fact I presented, along with the fact that the games industry is making more money than ever before and that the business is more viable for more developers for the reasons I listed. If developers/publishers were making less money than they were in the 90's (with inflation accounted for), the games
