Terrific show overall, the finale could've been a little stronger, but I like that it worked as a season and a series ending (hopefully not the latter). The one thing that sort of continues to make the wife and I chuckle - and it doesn't really diminish the enjoyment all that much (mostly just comes up in…
I thought #12 was Erlich Bachman, so I was surprised AVC didn't choose his followup masterpiece: Optimal Tip-To-Tip Efficiency
They've got a few good tunes, but they totally ripped off Apprehensive Excrement from the Wastelands.
Saw the Brenner-bot, but didn't pick up on the score, nice catch!
When we were watching this EP, my wife was wearing an old NIN concert T - that's all, just a funny coincidence (she immediately picked up on the tune too).
Yeah, the Sierra beers at our local grocery (Publix) are almost always on sale for $14.99-$15.99 for a 12-pack (bottles or cans), and the Sculpin are usually $15.95 for a 6-pack of cans. I mean, I've paid silly prices for some super limited products like Founders KBS or Devil Dancer, but they're "exotic" enough where…
You know, it's pretty fantastic, and I don't mind spending extra on a superior product, but the price (at least around here) is kind of *nuts* vs. some other really outstanding IPAs (Torpedo, Jai Alai)
We're nuts for seasonals, especially October/pumpkin products. A couple I didn't see mentioned below that are really worth tracking down (and not all that hard to find):
OK, only had a couple of minutes …
That's hysterical, it's almost worth the time to edit it _back_ in :D
That's hysterical, I do too.
Oh I know, right? We do the voice all the time, "Hello Mister Bob …". My little G wants a Kuchi now, I'm a little concerned as her other toys are really starting to outnumber us :D
I think the bad-on-purpose Asian accent does sometimes have a little vibe of a [bad-on-purpose] German accent (mostly sounds like a variant on a non-descript "foreign" James Bond villain), but I'm sure the intent is the former, especially given Kupi is a Japanese toy.
Easily an A- episode, many reasons were why last night's Simpson's was so terrible (i.e., it lacked these): great family dynamics, funny character interactions, it was playful and even a little sweet (yikes, the Simpsons was just mean and awkward …)
Yep. The wife and did our "home reviews" after The Simpsons last night (so glad Fox aired its normal lineup even with the football delay), we both had the same reaction.
When Elliot was trying to backtrack and determine what had happened (or what he probably did) to Tyrell, he met Joanna outside of their house, and he introduced himself as Ollie. There was much discussion over whether Joanna had actually met him before, and in this EP, her use of Ollie almost sounded like she was just…
Did you work that out in advance? I laughed at that exchange, er, probably more than I should have :D
Hahaha, I know, the logistics of creating a world conquering fleet and crew from what looks like 20 guys seems like a stretch.
With all that tree cutting required to build that many ships, Euron is _really_ going to piss off the Lorax …
