You should check him out in: Seven Psychopaths and In Bruges - they're both black comedies (heck, even both crime/caper/mob-esque). He's pretty terrific, and they're both outstanding films if you dig on the genre. Warning, even though they're funny, they're dark and violent (see Pulp Fiction, Snatch, LS&TSB, etc).

BTW, was that Meatloaf (the singer, not the food … mmmm, meat loaf …) in the trailer? I kind of looked at the additional cast in end credits and didn't notice it, but maybe he was using his real name (Michael Aday).

I think the scene wasn't just to create an "oh shit" moment, it was to point out, 1) the round is used by law enforcement, and 2) maybe there was a very specific order to the "assassin" to not get caught but _not_ kill anybody in the process (possibly even Ray specifically, like they want him to be able to continue

The one thing that threw me off with the town being an experiment and the decimated outside world being part of the "simulation", was the helicopter. They covered some ground - at a decent altitude - on the return flight, and made a point of someone looking up and seeing the copter from the town (so it's all in the

Funny, my wife immediately said the same thing - i.e., if this bomb was intended to bring down a massive, reinforced wall, and it didn't even injure a girl 2-3 feet from it (and I realize they were behind some bags of sand/concrete), I don't _think_ it was going to be very effective.

Holy smokes, his balls probably needed their own cryo-chamber …

Yeah, it makes me think there's an another layer of deceit going on, that the townies _and_ the support staff aren't being told the truth.

Hahaha, "As you now see, the penis, is more or less, fully erect".

I think it was suggesting that her vag was so unused, it was dried out and dusty.

Yeah, I was bummed about the opening theme. The song used during the promos was better (I understand that's The Only Thing Worth Fighting For by Lera Lynn), and the S1 theme Far From Any Road (The Handsome Family) was fantastic and so thematically perfect.

I have a deaths head moth tattoo

My wife - fashion diva that she is - thought the jacket was fabulous :D

We saw it today, it's pretty brilliant. Love the designs, characters, the message, the terrific cast - it works on a number of different levels: kids, adult humor, even some pretty "heady" stuff. Yeah, there are some amazingly emotional moments in it too.

He did that in 2014. So we have to assume he was also frozen too or the whole reveal that it's 2048 is BS or some other mysterious 3rd thing! Time travel?

We’ll see how it shakes out next week, but I like my Pam smarmy and sinister.

Yeah, I'm still trying to get my head around the timeline, and I don't recall some of the specifics (probably need a re-watch).

I want to know if there are other "Arks" like this. I think there have to be. Whatever facility that was that Ethan infiltrated. That operation seemed way too big to be servicing just one small town.

I've got to track those down.

Excellent! My wife just sent me an article on vulture.com

OK, full edit :D
