Did you watch the entire season? It can get a little psychedelic, but the core narrative stays pretty strong.

Yes! I can’t decide if it revealed a little too much, or if the show runners figure the fans of show are smart enough to be able to surmise the direction for S2 (after the final episode of S1 … vague by design to be non-spoiler-ish :D )
Yikes, this really crashed and burned at the BO. I hope Eckhart gets some better roles, he’s always terrific in a supporting capacity.
…or just go all in and add some werewolves, vampires, gill-men, leprechauns, C.H.U.D. and mansquitos.
We’re just waiting for the Hannibal season 2 premier so we can get our [much needed] fix of an engrossing, smart, beautifully filmed and acted serial killer themed TV show :)
“… haven't seen Bosom Buddies since… well, since it was on.”
“If only there were some sort of database where one could look up cast members of TV shows and movies ……..”
We started with the premier and have watched all three seasons (all of S3 that’s been broadcast), and have re-watched quite a few EPs (especially at mid-season breaks).
"…Legba agrees and withdraws his support of Laveau, which also takes away LaLaurie's immortality.”
According to what I’ve read, Papa Legba is more of an intermediary, the real work is done by who Lance is done up as: Baron Samedi. In either case, the sources don’t really suggest anything malevolent … they just in charge of shuffling the deceased off to the afterlife. The way it’s being played in AHS,…
I think she's probably just a prop (so to speak) and not really in hell.
Did you stay till the post credit scene? All I’ll say is it involves aquatic extraterrestrials and really changes the whole ending …
I kind of had the sense that this is the way it always goes down (since everybody seems to be manifesting multiple powers … and nobody seems all that surprised by it). I figured all the “local” witches tap into the Supreme juice, but only one manages to control enough to be the supreme-Supreme :)
Totally agree. It’s like this is the second season … heck, even the pilot had an amazing amount of “rhythm” from the cast. The writers do a great job of having multiple plots, that still feel like part of a single show (vs. some shows that relegate the B or C plot to filler).
