Tony LaRussa's "To Tell the Truth" appearance is less-staged than this abomination. Ugh. Snyder.

I agree 100%. This guy is clearly racist (by my standards, anyway) and holds implied prejudices against NBA players (at least the black ones, that is). There should be no place for this kind of stuff in journalism, and anyone who writes this way and implies that "blacks = dumb" deserves to die broke and alone, since

I'm just glad the Rays didn't make it. The Maddon vs. LaRussa World's Smartest Man competition would have made for some painful one-upsmanship.

Unbelievably sad moment for the sport and, more importantly, for a family. Rest in peace.

Thoughts go out to Dan Wheldon. That's a terrible, terrible thing.

The Boston media (fueled in part by the disgusting "anonymous" leaks from ownership interests) has really outdone themselves in this whole debacle. This is a new low. Let's change the conversation from "the manager and GM who helped win two titles were happy to get out of town" to "fried chicken and Madden!!1!"

The Red Sox ownership group has the moral compass of an insecure, gossipy teenage girl who will deny everything if confronted directly about the shit she says about her friends behind their collective back.

I thought it was the woman who played the cheerleader on SNL opposite Will Ferrell.
