Well I’m going to wade into this fray as a parent of a teenage boy and a teenage girl, even though I’ll get slammed.

The Spider-Man one is definitely worse. Transformers looks like the poster for a B movie instead of a summer blockbuster, but Spider-Man looks like a direct-to-DVD ripoff you’d find for a $1 in a bin at the supermarket.

So a month later it occurs to you, “Huh. When’s that Mummy movie gonna come out?” but it turns out it’s already on DVD in the checkout line…

I just saw it. Stop whatever you are doing and go see it. It was fucking amazing.

It was so very good. I went not having read the comics and didn’t really watch the show. My husband filled me in on the backstory on the way to the theater.

Everything was great, the acting, the directing, and the story. They knocked it out of the park in my opinion.
