Apology accepted. I understand - sorry if it felt like I was piling on as that was not my intent. I agree we need more information but it is hard not to want to protect a little girl who's terrified even when she's not yours. :)

But is your brother "terrified" of the other boy? How a child reacts to something can sometimes be misconstrued. But if my child was terrified, I'd want something done about it and I agree if the school has been doing nothing that is alarming.
You are getting into way more than I asked. I asked if you thought what the boy said was normal and you said "no". At least I assume that was what you meant by the no. The rest of you reply to me was immaterial to my question. But thanks for jumping on me for nothing I said or even implied.
"Some people will despise you and say rude things or taunt you or treat you incredibly unfair. That IS life. To suspect otherwise is foolish and helicopter-parenty."
"...kicked Metzger's daughter in the face and allegedly said "I want to slit your throat and watch you bleed" to the girl."
I guess someone's feelings were hurt because you were "too aggressive" but if I was your patient I would appreciate a take charge attitude when I'm dying. :)
I still think it was pointless. He/she was still talking to the wrong audience. There are actually places to send tips to the staff if you think they are missing a story. Coming to the comment section, given the nature of the internet, was just not a good idea. In fact the reaction was predictable. I agree too…
But McDonald's actually does offer healthy food. The side salad (sans the dressing, of course), oatmeal with real fruit and yogurt with real fruit. Are they the healthiest thing on the planet? No,but they are healthy in terms of food. However most people do not go to McDonald's to eat those items and most people do…
Touche. I hang my head in shame.
Look at it this way. It was a like you walking into a McDonald's and screaming about the lack of healthy food. It would be pointless, annoying to your fellow patrons and done only to make yourself feel superior.
"...because it was an honest criticism, politely offered;..."
Don't you bring logic and sense into this conversation, Mr Space Ghost - this is the internet! :P
No she wasn't. That's why you can't find a decent enough picture. I'm not saying she was ugly but even allowing for a difference in taste between now and then, she was not "effin' gorgeous".
"I'm sure I won't be missed, but if the comments become a place where you can attack someone for spelling a word wrong or having a different opinion, I'm done with this site."
"The argument that it's a gossip blog is weak when you take a look at all the US political news they report on."
But is it a fair criticism of the blog?
Oh, that is so true. I have resorted to only buying little bags at the dollar store so I won't eat so many. :(
"Do people REALLY need a special class to train them to NOT write insults on customer's food packaging?"
So you equate "don't be a girl" with "be more mature and/or provocative"? Really? Because I think if your boss wants you "be more mature and/or provocative" then he should use those words. But silly me, I'm a "girl", what do I know?
No tip? Those people were evil.
