That is Joan Bennett as Amy and Jean Parker as Beth. Joan Bennett has a special place in my ancient heart because she was Elizabeth Collins on Dark Shadows. Geez I had crappy taste in tv shows when I was a kid but I still get nostalgic about that show.
"Everyone has read Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings..."
"Seems to me the whole conversation or irritation over the word "chicks" is no yolking matter."
You are failing to understand that major studios are led by people who say "what did we do last time that made big bucks - just do that again". That is how major studios have been making movies since the beginning.
"Due process
Thanks - I should have known.
Tracie is a woman and women can call other women chicks. Get it?
Are you one of those white guys who thinks it isn't fair that black people can call each other the n-word?
Probably depends on the laws of the state/county/city that you pee in. There are a lot of laws that can be used in over reaching ways if the system wants to.
"It was no meth it was molly obviously cut with meth!!!"
I think its from "Jeremiah Johnson" - about a trapper in the old west.
"...why would anyone at Disney think that it would?"
I don't read the novels so I don't know. And Sci Fi does not promote diversity when the women are just there for romance and bikini shots. And the POCs are non existent. And claiming that aliens somehow means diversity to women and people of color is pretty insulting.
Probably depends on the country but I'm pretty sure children are not considered the property of their parents. Their parents have a legal responsibility to care for them and can make decisions about their lives but do not own them.
It wouldn't but if Disney thinks it will make less money, they won't do it.
The first movie was made in 1977. It is now 2014 - so stick your mansplaining where the son don't shine, Paul.
Bullshit. Most characters don't have to be male or white. You can make the change when you cast them because 99 times out of 100 it won't make a damn bit of difference to the story.
Oh yeah, that makes it sooooo much better when the women are supporting characters that get two lines and a nod. Yeah, that's showing what women do best. /s
God it must be so hard for you to watch any kind of tv series or movie if that is your take on things. I'm so sorry. Internet hugs for being pedantic.
