This is so accurate and I LOL’d.

Just let us enjoy our wholesome family entertainment, haters!

Burke was in Boy Scouts and went sailing with his Dad, so it’s plausible that he knew how to make a garotte. Normally I’d think there’s no way a child could do that to his sister, but he smeared his feces on a box of chocolates she’d received that morning, so safe to say there was an abnormal level of aggression going

It’s true. Our parents couldn’t even be bothered to give me my own first name.

I don’t doubt it!

I am excited to watch this and no one can stop me.

The CBS theory is that he hit her once on the back of the head with a very big and heavy flashlight found on the scene. They even had an actual 10 year old hit a model of a child’s skull and it broke in the same way Jonbenet’s did. It was very creepy television, but it did help me see how he could have struck her in

Take him away, boys!

Interestingly, Dr. Phil and Burke share the same lawyer. Dr. Phil defended Burke’s strange mannerisms, and in no way implied that Burke was the killer.

That seems like the most plausible explanation. He was acting so weird and paranoid that he freaked someone out, they punched him in the stomach, and fled when they realized he was dying. It doesn’t explain the pants off, shirt ripped open aspect, or the fact that he had his money and jewelry scattered around him,

IIRC the coroner estimated time of death around 1am. That gives them nearly 5 hours to write the note, manipulate the crime scene, and get their stories straight before involving the police.

Yes!! That’s another one that is just beyond weird in so many ways.

Hahaha yes!! How badly does one have to want to be on television to volunteer for repeated tasings?

I think it’s the completely bizarre elements of the case. Like the ransom note, which was unlike any the FBI had ever seen before, or since, and the fact that she was a pageant girl and looks like a 25 year old showgirl in every photo we see of her.

That was honest to goodness one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen on television. I watched with a combination of horror and laughter.

True, but I think the accusation is that he enabled her, and not that he forced her. If they can find proof that he gave the pills to her, that would be pretty negligent as well as illegal.

So many questions.. Why did he have an assistant video-monitoring her coming and going? Why didn’t he go check on her, or at least alert someone when she didn’t emerge for 24 hours? Even if she was in a green card marriage and her husband is just looking for a payout.. This doesn’t reflect particularly well on Jim

That’s such a bummer but I'm really glad to know that they're a bad idea! I'm curious, did your dad's friend have any recommendations about the ideal type of shoe for kiddos?

Aww man, that's disappointing but thanks for letting me know!

They’re great for little kids, too. Especially if they like to play outside. No laces to deal with, and (as you mentioned) they wipe clean!
