This weekend I found myself in possesion of a very boring, beat to hell, high mileage, beater Tahoe. This expression of vehicle is about the 4th choice for what I was looking for. My criteria were as follows:
Saw this AMG Smart the other day.
Only time for a quick shot, but I’ll get better soon. A Saab and a Race Car!
As there was some interest in this from yesterday’s post I thought I would try to get better pics. Still potato quality, but hopefully a bit better lit.
I just bought a house and am busy unpacking. I decided to put some of my bigger diecast and lego kits on a bookcase so I can actually seen them. Pardon the potato pics and the dust. I am still trying to get things sorted.
All, A while back I seem to recall an Ikea sourced display case that someone made for 1/64th cars. I’d like to build one of these soon, as I am buying a house and can finally display my diecasts. My search-fu has failed me, however, and I cannot find the post. Anyone know who did that or can offer pointers? A 787b…
Got the Speed Lootcrate today. It has a Greenlight Gone In 60 Seconds Elenore model. Sorry for potato pics.
I banged out this model this evening. I really like the finished product. Fun, quick build as conoared to the 24 hour racer.
Working on the 917\919 set while I watch the race
Ordered the program for the 100th running of the Indy 500 which included this Indy Hot Wheel. Do I DLM or not?

New job, new work desk fleet. Not a lot here yet as I have been at this job for just over a week.
I just put in notice at work and got a free vacation since I was released immediately (SOP for infosec people). Here’s the Mormon Meteor for your troubles.
So I put a 6 in your 6 so you can 6 while you 6.
So the wife and I just got new cars. She, a 2016 Mazda CX-3 Touring in White. I a 2015 Mazda6 Grand Touring in Black Mica with the tech package. I went in to the stealership sure I was going to end up with a black Touring 2016 (maybe manual). They happened to have a super (~2500) milage 6 GT with the tech package on…
You know you want to stay up for the fun. It’s time for the annual Magnus Racing 24 Hours of Daytona video.
I was returning a battery the other day and saw this M2 offering of AutoZone branded GM goodness. Say Hello to the 1957 Nomad and 1970 El Camino rolling Mullet. Potato quality photos as my real camera is currently elsewhere.
This is the current desk fleet at work.
My 90’s angst came back today and I needed to listen to a bunch of alt rock. I need to know what the Jeepster looking thing is in this video:
Decided to get a new display for my computer. A 42” 4K tv to replace a couple of old 28” monitors.
