If I ever find myself in a position where I’m so well off I have $100k I’m tempted to spend on fuckin’ toys, I plan on always having a Safari tab open to the [insert worthy nonprofit] homepage. It’s not cute or charming, that people do shit like this. It’s pure selfishness.
Looking forward to considering playing this once it leaves early access.
This is the greatest thing that ever happened on Twitter.
Right next to this one.
“The Kerberos helmet, which looks like the sort of thing a soldier would wear in the trenches of World War 2.”
The trenches of WW2? Everything is just sort of blending together huh?
I second this.
I was gonna say that. Xbox on the other hand is only charging $1 to combine your existing time from Gold and Gamepass. So when ultimate came out and I saw that I already had 18 months of Gold and Gamepass combined that I got through various discounts. So I bought another 18 months of Gold for around $80 so that I’d be…
This is just a case of Microsoft knowing exactly what it was getting into and playing the long game and Sony trying to bite their flow and not putting in the years of research that brought Microsoft to this point. They’re flailing because it wasn’t an organic decision but a counterpunch against Game Pass.
Life of Black Tiger yeah
You mean a world where cryptobros claim being “anon” is a positive, disclaim only the basest possible information about oneself and it’s “qualifications” while simulteanously claiming to be the most trusable person, really, for a project that’s too good to be true on it’s face. Based on a system where no guardrails…
As TV format, PAL has more lines than NTSC and I seem to remember that the composite signal for PAL is significantly better than the one for NTSC as far as image quality goes.
higher resolution. The TVs are basically outputting the same “pixels/second”
None really. It has to do with the refresh rates of TVs in PAL regions, which were 50hz instead of the NTSC and JP regions which were 60hz. This was an issue in previous eras of consoles due to analog video outputs among other technical reasons.
Seconded!
This is the right take. I’ve tried games I would have never picked up or bothered with just because I have that luxury. Really broadened my horizons.
Since you mentioned those games and have Game Pass, if you haven’t played it check out Tropico 6, it’s the less in-depth version of Cities Skylines set in a fictitious Latin American nation where you are El Presidente who needs to see to the needs of her people.
oh, I didn’t meant to imply that JWE2 was a bad game. I’m enjoying it very much, but I’m also willing to overlook some stuff (like technical issues, under-explained mechanics and some odd choices in how you can develop your park) because is Jurassic Park.
as a newcomer to the service (I got my first ever Xbox machine back in March), I’m still a little ambivalent about Game Pass. On one hand, it reminded me of the old “200 channels and nothing to watch” joke about cable TV; the catalogue offered me tons of things, but very little that particularly interests me, although…
Wait, what?
