This is going to be no different than cayo perico. Game has had lots of this type of “story” content.

The GrappleShot is such a natural addition to Chief’s weaponry, it’s hard to believe it wasn’t always there.
Yes, super important distinction and it’s weird that many places are reporting it this way!
It’s been so long modern young video game writers don’t even know what single player dlc is.
Seriously, I’ve had the hardest time figuring out why so many outlets are championing this like it’s some sort of revelation. This is just going to be another set of online missions plus a cutscene where Franklin talks a bit. Nevermind that they basically did the same thing with Trevor with the online heists back in…
Hype. The campaign looks like a lot of fun, I’m excited to get home and hop on.
You’re good! Happy to help. Let’s see...
So, can’t get into too much detail for obvious reasons but tldr is: It’s the first time I or any peers I’ve asked have seen anything like that. (Funny story: I didn’t fully realize until I’d spent some time unlocking MP cosmetics, then went back to the embargo and read the fine print and—whoops!)
Normally I’d agree, but you’ve been able to purchase cosmetic MTXs since the multiplayer’s official launch. IMO, if you can spend money on/in the game, you’ve launched.
Might as well be playing video blackjack on the projector. At least the odds are better.
Lootbox culture is creepy.
This is similar to the time I asked my professor to eat a bag of mixed, unmarked pills with me to see what happens.
Remember in the old Halo games when you had maybe a dozen colour options that only showed up in FFA games?
It is super weird how everybody is (justifiably) dumping on Blizzard lately but giving a free pass to Riot.
Yup you’re absolutely right. There was a previous Kotaku article where they did that little disclaimer at the bottom of the article that Riot’s done bad things etc, but that is noticeably absent from this one.
It’s totaly fine you guys!
To his defense, Ratchet and Clank was really good
Same. I tapped out sometime after Forsaken, and whenever all the expansion packs go on sale its a little tough to figure out what exactly I’d need to buy and then there’s the risk that stuff might get vaulted.
You get less game if you buy Halo Infinite than in previous titles. People are understandably upset that iconic armor sets that have been available for free no longer exist in game unless you pay money. I don’t think Kotaku has covered the revelation that there are more than 88 store bundles and that it would cost…
