Also worth noting: Upgrading the entire set to level 2 gives you the Impact-Proof ability, letting you hit the ground without worrying about fall damage. The upgrades aren’t even all that hard to farm, either.

I’d bet 2 billion dollars on it being on of the massive Chinese conglomerates.
Potentially the Saudis, but as of now, they seem slow and steady (and smart) about which companies they are putting their money into.
the real question is...
I’m reminded of a few of the Darth’s that almost made it into the games at one point.
Darth Icky
Darth Insanious
That’s disappointing. Guess I know why he was so convincing when playing a pervert on MQ.
“We got four buttholes!”
“I took a lover in Guam once who had three, but four? That’s the dream...”
It’s also kinda fitting that in “Backstory!” we find out that his one major success was stolen and that his entire career was…
How would you feel about a constant life drain on the warriors? I feel like that would be a fair trade off.
I came to post “oh shit, what flavor?!”” but you beat me to it hahaha.
What an awful company.
I mean, I guess I understand, since they clearly had access to data showing the problems they addressed, but I actually like how busted Corpse Explosion was in D3, and it already felt weaker in D4 than it used to. Hopefully they don’t reduce it too much.
It’s like Mario said: “a good bad game delayed forever; a bad goood game delayed for life.”
...I may be misremembering that.
Even funnier, a few of the Assassin’s Creed games are already included in GamePass. As is FarCry 5, For Honor, Immortals: Fenyx Rising, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Rainbow Six Siege, and Rainbow Six Extraction.
If they think that people are going to pay MORE than GamePass for Ghost Recon Breakpoint and FarCry 6... They…
Thank God for them.
This is the slow-creep and normalization that people were warning about when some people said that microtransactions were okay since they were usually “just cosmetics”.
It was never going to stay “just cosmetics”, that’s just how they got their foot in the door.
yeah, they do. I recently started my second lap and still had the leftovers from my first run.
Unfortunately for me, I had already purchased and used both of the upgrade tickets on my first run before Mercenaries came out and made the Handcannon easily accessible.
As far as I am aware, you can also purchase your way to these final upgrades without maxing out all the other stats with the newly introduced Microtransactions. The Signature Upgrade also has two tickets available in the Trade Shop for 30 and 40 Spinels. So if you unlock the Handcannon in Mercenaries and then drop a…
I can’t find it, what’s the title? The latest video I see about some guy named Sneako. I used to watch KiraTV when the Earth2 and Elyria stuff was going down, but the channel changed up its focus to drama and docu-style stories and I tuned out.
Okay, the monetization just jumped the shark. A $7 pass that lasts the month and a new $13 easter themed Slayer (making it the most expensive one yet).
The modern era of gaming sucks.
I’ve been loving the game so far, but honestly, I wish it was just a $10 console twin stick or something without the monetization. It doesn’t yet feel predatory to me, but it does feel gross just knowing that my current roadblock COULD be conquered with a bit of spending.
I’m on Six now as well. Made it 6-23 without any payments. It’s definitely a ramp up in difficulty, but with the game only just coming out and there only being 9 stages, I’m not yet convinced that it’s an intentional pay wall as much as it is an intentional roadblock to force some grinding, dailies and leveling.
Of…
I dunno, the live, social aspect was one thing that I actually enjoyed about Diablo Immortal, and I’m glad to see it here. I had fun just stumbling across public events and teaming up with strangers on my way to a quest.
Just played the demo, what a fantastic game. A bit of a learning curve, and you’ll inevitably find yourself making a few mistakes your first few times, but after I figured it out, I want to buy the full game, if and when I can afford it.
