I’ve experienced my fair share of mobile and F2P gaming, and I can promise you, this one is so much worse. It’s not just aggressively monetized, it does it insidiously.

I was defending this game right up until hours ago and can promise you... it’s so much worse haha.

THREE DIFFERENT SUBSCRIPTIONS!

I’m going to keep shouting about this until they lock me up. I was really enjoying the game. Then I beat a mission and unlocked A THIRD SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. THREE. ONE GAME.

Fortnite looks downright humanitarian by comparison.

Wasn’t this developed externally by a chinese team though? Fairly certain I remember NetEase being closely tied to this project.

I defended Diablo Immortal last time.

Earlier today, I unlocked the game’s THIRD SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. No. I refuse. The game was fun, but that was a bridge too far.

This announcement was a smart and timely move by Blizzard.

I saw another video today of the combat and it looked a lot better. I think that IGN video did a lot of damage to public confidence in this game.

They really should have gone with a scripted demo for that reveal.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were talks of a Cloud Edition that fell apart after the Kingdom Hearts Cloud Edition fiasco.

Customization looks good.

oh man, that was one of my favorite 360 games, and shockingly dark the moment you spend even a second thinking about the implications haha. I never got into Trouble In Paradise though.

It looks interesting, but I’m still not entirely sure WHAT IT IS...

Best guess is Minecraft’s version of Dragon Quest Builders?

ooh, you’re missing out by not playing D3's Necromancer. Corpse Explosion is the best thing to ever happen to that game haha.

alcohol exploits alcoholics. Are you in favor of prohibition? I too, would be fine if all games returned to “give us $20-60, we’ll give you a game.” business models, but there is fun to be had in this game, in drinking, in any vices. Some people will take any and every vice to an extreme. Help those that need it, but

This was the highlight among all the GamePass logos I saw today. I’m excited to try them all, but this is top of my list.

Completely agree. It’s absurd how much fun I’m having in this. I even rediscovered my love of running social circles, and put together an active Warband. I’m not looking forward to the part where the free game becomes less free, but with the fun I’ve already had, it’s not the game hasn’t earned a buck or two.

I would

If they successfully positioned themselves as a gaming collectible store, it could work. I know they started that when they bought Jinx or something similar, but it seemed more like a Walmart section rather than an actual “Event” type location with unique offerings.

If I’m running gamestop, here’s what I do:

Yeah, I just did a faceroll run through the copper mine at level 41, and found LOTS of pre-made ingots. Thinking back, we were being sneaky before, so we didn’t smash a lot on the way, or kill many low levels, so I guess it makes sense how I missed them.

oh yeah, those are definitely going to be a type of motorcycle mounts.

Interestingly, their dichotomy might imply a type of area that each are only capable of getting to.

Pokemon games have always had their teams in opposition, and these two different Professors seem to indicate a Natural vs. Technological mentality. I

You seem to have some very absolutist views on how the world works, and that’s just not the case, ever. Am I annoyed by Sisi Jiang’s constantly knob-gobbling over Genshin Impact? Sure. But no other author here has control over that.

As for your made up scenario of defending ActiBlizz, while I don’t see it happening, if

So far in my experience, ingots don’t drop nearly enough to make them a viable farming option. Had I waited for farming ingots rather than making my own, I’d be waaay behind where I am now.

The Corporate Structure of the Pokemon IP is super convoluted. Between Nintendo, PMC, and Creatures Inc. they all seem to be in charge, but no one is? From what I can tell, PMC runs merch and the CCG, Creatures Inc. runs the game side of things and... Nintendo is there too. Or did I mix the first two up? I can never
