This was my thought exactly. This type of DLC is completely fine for Borderlands.... as the free/seasonal/event stuff. But the paid campaigns have ALWAYS been far meatier than this offering. I was disappointed.

Seriously, Arena may have been groundbreaking at the time, but it is ugly and inscrutable by today’s standards. 

I just played it yesterday! First time in a year, actually. It looks like they haven’t done any new content updates in that year, but the single player stuff is still playable/purchasable at least. Assuming that Multiplayer is fine for now too, but I’m not good enough at CCG’s to attempt that haha.

yes, but this game is MUCH better about the rates at which it hands out quests, with side missions usually picked up right at the entrance to the relevant map, or sub-area.

The thing about tech demos though, any dev can have the world’s greatest water physics, or grass, or trees, or ultra-detailed terrain...

But the moment you plug that into an actual game, you’ve eaten up so much of your computational “budget” that there’s not much more you can do.
