You are wrong, Burbank breath!

Again, this episode made me giggle thinking about the guy who kept arguing with me here that this show was realistic.

Johnny Carson not only rolling in his grave, but shitting his pants and weeping too.

Seems like a slim difference. We're still talking about a guy who made a zillion dollars making cannibalism and mass murder look like fun for three seasons.

Interesting to see a guy who made a ton of money glorifying a serial killer wringing his hands over rape scenes.

Didn't Ford build a town for his black employees to live in and name it "Inkster?"

Who didn't?

It should be a filmmaking law that when you're portraying Bonnie and Clyde, you must hire actors with at least half the charisma of Dunaway and Beatty.

I did! I did!

Weird to think a game show host who sexually assaults women and literally sits on a golden throne in his penthouse apartment may not have the best interests of other people in mind.

I wonder what Kurtzman will say when this MUMMY remake also turns out to be terrible. Though I suppose Universal (and Kurtzman) doesn't care if it's terrible so long as it's profitable.

I agree with the first part of your statement, because the plotting is incredibly stupid and implausible. Alvarez has some talent though, and he's able to create some suspense, despite how dumb the movie is. Those kids should have been superheroes, because they're able to absorb enough physical punishment to knock

Accepting apologies from those who said I was wrong when I stated exactly this several weeks ago.

They probably thought it wasn't important, and that anyone who actually cared would be observant enough to figure it out.

Yeah, Arlington is right across the river. McLean, Falls Church, Vienna, Fairfax. I just assumed the Kirkmans were living in Virginia or Maryland, and that's where they voted.

Eh, I thought this episode was particularly dumb, and the only way that it can sustain itself is by making its characters act like dummies. Why don't Malik Yoba and Maggie Q do the intelligent thing and tell the President what they know? There is NO reason for them not to. Yoba could easily have told the President,

As in "Digital Video Disc?" What are you trying to say?

Go watch some BARNEY MILLER, and we'll continue this discussion.

B99 is no more in the "real world" than 30 ROCK or COMMUNITY. A glance at their Halloween episodes and CHEERS' goofy but more realistic Bar Wars episodes demonstrates that. Jake Peralta is no more plausible a human being, not to mention a law enforcement officer, than Maxwell Smart. Batman shows up in the B99

They are in that their only job is to make us laugh. Did this episode succeed? That's up to you and I to decide individually (I think it mostly did). Why should a viewer insist on realism in a show that has never bothered to be realistic? Certainly the characters and plots on B99 are no less cartoonish than those on
