Interesting that the original film made absolutely no mention of Ernie Hudson's race.

I'm sure they were very surprised when Takei said no. On the drive home: "Uh, shit, so what do we do now?"

Still confused by the outrage over a profile that accentuates the attractiveness of a woman wearing a bikini on the cover.

I think it bothers Takei because the filmmakers came to him, out of respect, to get his blessing. He didn't give it, which is his right, and they went ahead and made Sulu gay anyway, which Takei may have taken as a big "Fuck you, George."

What about these new films isn't unimaginative and lazy?

No kidding. I've heard this story about four times.

If I had told you in 1990 that Alec Baldwin would one day be a fucking game show host, how hard would you have slapped me in the face?

Like any publicist would allow their client to potentially embarrass themselves in a nationally televised athletic competition. And a new BATTLE could never afford to pay enough to make it worth the contestants' while.

Nedeff's biography of Bill Cullen is fucking aces.

Does the announcer still say, "Get ready to match the stars!"

I prefer Phyllis Coates, who was a tougher, no-nonsense Lane, but Noel Neill, to this day, is the gold standard in Lois Lanes. RIP.

Tom Hanks is "pretty awful?" Is that you, Armond White?

That's why their second series didn't work. They were divorced by then, and the audience knew they hated each other, so Cher's barbs were more uncomfortable than funny.

Who could forget MEL AND SUSAN TOGETHER?

Where's the Great Job, Internet for THE STARLAND VOCAL BAND SHOW starring David Letterman?

Really? They couldn't find anyone with less gravitas to play the greatest superhero of all?

On Paradise Island? If they have magic lassos and bracelets that deflect bullets, I can believe they built a jet.

An invisible jet is way too fun for a DC Comics movie.

Wouldn't think it would be hard. It's not like Noah Galvin is the best actor in Hollywood who wants to be on an ABC sitcom.

Movies were better and we were smarter in 1991.
