I would agree Aykroyd and Hartman are one and two, but I can never decide the order. I would say Aykroyd is probably the show's most underrated cast member. So many years (and bad films) later, I fear few remember how brilliant a sketch comedian *and writer* he was.

I've always used my real name in comments sections and Twitter and so forth. I know everyone here is a nice person and all, but certainly there's a touch of cowardice in anyone who criticizes behind a pseudonym.

It's pretty great.

Question: is geek culture (whatever that is) "attacking" the new GHOSTBUSTERS because it has women in it or because these particular women are in it? Because this statement by Feig — "(Melissa McCarthy) is just this hilarious woman who is so funny." — is certainly open to debate.

They still play old-time hockey there. Like Eddie Shore.

You are probably not wrong.

SUPERGIRL playing that woman card again.

I think it's a better costume than Gustin's. And I don't think most of the CGI effects on the new show are a lot better. Some are worse.

And the war, which pre-empted several episodes.

I would get rid of the entire supporting cast and start over. Benoist is fantastic, but nobody else on the show is any good.

Why does the strongest woman on Earth need a team? I've never really understood the DEO's purpose in the show, except to give the grossly miscast Chyler Leigh something to do.

Well, monkey writers.

Tracy Scoggins is on the phone to her agent as we speak.

(looks at TWILIGHT ZONE episode guide) 39 episodes! In a season? Screw that!

Cat Grant is the best part of the show? Which SUPERGIRL show is that? I can't believe how bad Flockhart's acting is. I can live with the unnatural Botoxing, because it makes sense Cat would be into that. But the acting is awful. In her defense, she at least has screen presence, which no other actor on the show except

Take him to Detroit!

John Landis directed a lusty sex scene that is both funny and erotic, which is pretty rare. In the movies, anyway. Not at my house.

Adam West is reading this and weeping.

Interesting point about Harry's "casual prejudice." In MAGNUM FORCE, he says to his partner, referring to rumors around the police academy that the vigilante cops were "queer," "If the rest of you could shoot like them, I wouldn't care if the whole damn department was queer." To me, that means Harry really didn't give

He's an interesting, complex bird, to say the least. He seems to have a knack for creating interesting female characters (for instance, Tyne Daly in THE ENFORCER and Sondra Locke in SUDDEN IMPACT), but he's awful with women in reality (7 or 8 kids with 5 different women, forcing Locke to get an abortion).
