My favorite bit in this episode was the succession of "Day One"s as Finch got to know the various iterations of his bouncing baby Machine, especially how the third "Day One" simply showed the computer lab on fire.

Am I the only one who thinks Finch will eventually be returning to his Badass Arms Dealer persona? That was too delicious and/or scary a character transformation to be dropped. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I just wish Ichie had pronounced Steuben's name correctly.
I was expecting Henry's law firm to be named something like Engulf & Devour…
" It reminds me - in a negative, itchy-skin sort of way - of the late, unlamented Canadian SF series Painkiller Jane."
"You can’t kill or harm or do anything to any living creature. It is absurd."
Person of Interest's season premieres are always a bit tepid and timid. They set up great season finales and then the season premieres aren't as hard-hitting; I guess they save the good stuff for later. This is just par for the course, so I'm not at all concerned.
Also, they had John Noble on as a dead flashback character and then brought him back again. +100 points
Why no mention of "Thicky Trick"? The music video is on Youtube…
Diane Kruger showed up on her boyfriend Joshua jackson's show, Fringe
I don't know where this fits into the Bechdel continuum, but Fringe - an Abrams show I really loved, despite this - had a curious reputation for showing a "strong female character" - Olivia Dunham. However, when you scraped away the surface trappings of "strength," it soon became apparent that all of Olivia's powers…
Joshua Jackson's theft of this show from James van der Beek is still one of the best TV "crimes" of the century.
I cannot get into this show, because the acting is so dead-fish awful.
Cool finale, but wondering how many more times this show is going to pull the "gotcha! One clone is pretending to be another" twist gambit.
Lost was a noisy bore with too many unlikable characters. The best episode was "The Constant" and Fringe has already had at least 3 or 4 episodes as good.
"Not in Cerveris' acting range" - um, what? Michael Cerveris is a Tony-nominated actor. I think he could handle it…
Joel Wyman and David Fury have already (unofficially) addressed this in interviews and tweets. (I hope they will be kind enough to actually write it into an actual script.) Their explanation is that the "nice" Observers, the Observer science away team, was never fully informed about the true purpose of their…
