Hate to go all mind-fuckery here, but I don't think those Peter and Olivia nightmares are a reliable account of what really happened that day. I think maybe Etta died on that day (how, I don't know) and this 2036 world is not what it seems.

I can't believe no one noticed that Olivia's nightmare about Etta's vanishing had different details than Peter's nightmare last week. Why were the blankets different colors? Red one week, green the next? And Peter's shirt - gray one week, brown the next?

Lance Reddick is not gone, neither is Blair Brown, they're just not appearing as much this season.

This is not really a response to you specifically Merve, but last season when a lot of fans were sitting there defiantly with arms folded and going, "HOW can I possibly be invested in characters who are from a different timeline?  I don't FEEL anything…"  I kept thinking, "Because you're so wrapped up in linear

I posted my thoughts on this elsewhere so won't repeat, but… in a nutshell… seems to me that Josh Jackson is trying to play this like John Noble played Walter's obsession with Peter.  Which, if you recall, involved a lot of Walter being touchy feely on Peter.  Of course, with a male and female actor close in age, it's

Yeah, and… can we talk about the elephant in the room this season?  That is to say… the whole… Peter and Etta thing?

"If all those things we saw didn't "happen" for Walter, then the Walter
we have now is essentially a different character than the one the
audience watched for three seasons."

Because some people can actually sample a serialized show from midway through and make a decision on whether they want to go back and watch from the beginning.

Not to start the Season 4 debate, but… I watch Fringe to be shown weird and challenging stuff.  I mean, I like weird and challenging stuff.  I'm a science fiction fan.  Nonlinear storytelling, I can dig it.  I appreciated Season 4.  And I also don't understand how seasons 1-3 "never happened" if we had a character
